LinkList - Data Mining and Extraction

Ever wanted to index the text strings in all your files? How about get a list of the blocks? Which files use a given XRef? All these operations and more are possible using Tailor Made Software's Data Mining Tools, including LinkXChange.

Quickly scan Autodesk™ DWG and DXF, Adobe PDF, Hewlett-Packard Graphics Language HP-GL and HP-GL/2, and MicroStation DGN files for information. Extract a wide variety of information including layer and names, geometric data, entity type sand conunts, block names, text, attributes and a host of other information.

Operation

Our data mining tools have been designed to work as part of an automated process. They do not require extensive hard drive space or memory allocation (<1MB) and can be installed on any PC or laptop computer.

LinkXchange has a comprehensive set of parameters that allow the user to control exactly what is output and to where. Each type of information can be turned on or off individually for complete control over the listing process.

Input Formats

LinkList-XML/DWG supports AutoCAD DWG and DXF files. LinkList-XML/DWG will list both Model Space and Paper Space entities. AutoCAD DWG and DXF support is available on Windows, Linux and Solaris.

LinkList-XML/PDF supports Adobe PDF files up through PDF 1.5. PDF support is available on Windows, Linux and Solaris.

LinkList-XML/DGN supports MicroStation DGN files up through DGN 8.1. LinkList-XML/DGN will list both 2D and 3D elements in the design file. DGN support is only avaialble on Windows.
