Installation under Solaris (Unix) and Linux is very straight forward.
Copy the program files to a directory
Add that directory to your path or point you processes to the executable in that directory
Copy the accompanying shared object library (.so) files to /usr/local/lib
Establish symbolic link to point from the version name of the files to the real name. For instance, a symbolic link from acroxchange_1_00 to just acroxchange. Do not forget to establish links for the shared object libraries also.
